Lucidea at DCDC19 with Software That Dissolves the Digital Divide

(VANCOUVER, British Columbia) — Lucidea, leading global provider of software for galleries, libraries, archives and museums, will be attending DCDC19 in Birmingham, UK, on the 12th-14th November.

Lucidea builds its archival and museum collections management, knowledge management, and integrated library management applications on a single platform, enabling them to accommodate standards and differences in cataloging and documentation practices, yet provide federated results—allowing galleries, libraries, archives and museums to digitally integrate collection materials—enabling more thorough, engaging, and accurate research. Even while collections may be siloed in physical form, with Lucidea’s powerful and flexible software, the GLAM divide can dissolve digitally.

Lucidea representative Phil Wensley will be presenting during Panel 8: Digital Transformation, on Thursday 14th November at 10:45 am. Mr. Wensley will cover the “digital fundamentals”, including connectivity between systems, reduced costs of ownership, uniformity of presentation through a single venue (i.e., technology portal), and easier training. He will also explain Lucidea’s unique value proposition: all of these fundamentals are honored through the same technology and based on the same platform.

Lucidea provides unrivaled archival collections management, museum collections management, knowledge management, and library automation software to clients worldwide, offering innovative tools purpose-built based on best practices observing and working with museum, gallery, archives, and special library clients of all sizes and budgets for over 30 years, supporting them with products like Argus, ArchivEra, SydneyEnterprise, and Inmagic Presto. Visit Lucidea at the Birmingham Conference & Events Centre (BCEC) during the conference to chat about the many ways their solutions can help you dissolve the digital divide.
