SLA 2021 Diamond Sponsorship
Keeping a longstanding tradition, Lucidea attended the Special Libraries Association’s Annual Conference as a Diamond Sponsor, with an exciting lineup of events and updates. Their experts were on hand in their Virtual Exhibit Booth to demonstrate Lucidea’s library automation, knowledge management, and CMS products, designed to accommodate every budget and organization size.
They engaged with hundreds of visitors to their booth, as well as reporting hundreds of video views, click-throughs and downloads from people who wanted to see the latest developments to their suite of integrated library system and knowledge management solutions and enjoy their many professional development offerings.
Lucidea’s SLA events lineup focused on ways special librarians can deliver a full portfolio of services and content virtually—in addition to exploring the impact and evolution of knowledge management in special libraries. Their education sessions and solutions showcase included: The Five Cs of Knowledge Management in Special Libraries (presented by Stan Garfield), Go from Chaos to KM in Minutes, and Show Your Stuff & Meet Users Where They Are, with Powerful 3rd Party Content Importing.
Increasing Global Virtual Tradeshow and Conference Presence
In addition to its presence at SLA 2021, despite the pandemic, Lucidea maintained its focus on supporting library, KM, and museum and archives associations by attending—and in many cases, sponsoring—their virtual conferences. Notably, with the increase in remote work and virtual access there was a surge of interest in Lucidea’s software across the portfolio, due to the increasing requirement to put collections online. Providing special incentives and offers as support for existing and prospective clients during COVID is one of the many ways Lucidea has answered the challenge of a very difficult time for everyone.
- Lucidea sponsored more tradeshows and conferences in 2021 than ever before; 47 in total—including 14 venues new to them—delivering an innovative virtual presence through digital exhibit booths, webinars, and real-time meetings. Lucidea’s ILS, KM, and CMS solutions were highlighted in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia, at events including those produced by ALIA, ARMA, NEA, CILIP, MARAC, BCLA, CMA, AAM, BIALL, SLA, MARAC AND SAA.
